Anyone anywhere in the world with tinted melanin probably knows what it feels like to be discriminated against. But does that make us extra-sensitive? What I love about cultural relativism is that what one culture holds as offensive, another may see it as the highest compliment. This article addresses a really unique instance of this happening. Did Godfrey Bloom know what he was saying or did he just get lucky that the phrase he used in a different context means the polar opposite of what it sounds like to the untrained ear?
